Dear Everglades High School Community,

It is both a privilege and a joy to introduce myself as the new Principal of Everglades High School. With sincere gratitude and excitement, I welcome you to a new school year and look forward to serving this remarkable community.

Everglades is already a place of pride and performance – an A-rated school with a strong culture, committed staff, and extraordinary scholars. I step into this role with deep respect for the legacy that exists here. I am honored to build upon the strong foundation that has been laid and to partner with you as we continue this tradition of excellence.

As we begin this new chapter together, I bring a clear vision and a shared commitment to elevating every aspect of the Gator experience. This year, our collective focus will be to:

• Celebrate who we are – honoring our identity, traditions, and collective success
• Create new opportunities – through innovation and real-world learning
• Strengthen community – by building inclusive partnerships that support every Gator's journey

And to the Freshman Class of 2029:

Welcome to the Swamp—and welcome to history.

You are stepping into high school during a historic moment. You are my first class as principal of Everglades High School.  That means you hold a special place in this chapter we’re beginning together. You represent possibility, legacy, and the future of what Everglades can become – and I couldn’t be prouder to start this journey with you.

Over the next four years, I want you to lead boldly, learn deeply, and leave your mark. Try something new. Be curious. Ask questions. Lift each other up. And most of all—believe in yourself the way we already believe in you.

Together, we will grow, rise, and write a legacy worth remembering. Let’s show everyone what the Class of 2029 is made of.

I invite every family, student, and community member to join us in this work. Let’s lead the Swamp with vision. Let’s build on the excellence that’s already in motion. Let’s make Everglades High School the blueprint for what’s possible.
